Here Comes # 2... Jordan

I've been a little slow on the blogging.. I've had my hands full! October 29 We had our second little boy! His name is Jordan Christopher Blackham! He weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 20 inches long. He has been the easiest little boy ever. I think God knew if he didn't send me an easier boy, I'd never have anymore kids! I'm so in love with both of them.
Zach is so adorable with his little brother! He is so protective of him. They are such a blessing to me and Brett. Jordan is the happiest boy you will ever meet! He has smiled every day since he was born. And in return it makes me smile. Being a mom is great, I couldn't ask for more. It is a privilege having them in our family. I'm so excited, Jordan is sitting up all by himself now. He rolls over and chews on anything that gets in reach! Zach is into everything, he loves to play with balls and give hugs and kisses! He is so so sweet. He is also into throwing things away for me. He's pretty good to throw his diapers away and garbage! But he also likes to throw away things he shouldn't! I always have to check the trash before we take it out! A day doesn't go by that I laugh at something that he does. They both have the funnest personalitys! They keep life amazing!
There has been so many changes in our life the past year. We now live in Cedar city. Brett had a job down there working for a massage school, but she had to lay him off due to her financial difficulties. It was crazy because the same week brett got laid off our house finally went through. Life changes so fast. Brett now works for the pharmacy and sells Daily Bread(food Storage). He has done Acting opportunities every chance he gets! He is also an amazing husband and father. He is definitely his little boys hero! I have been doing alot of hair! I've been traveling to peoples houses. They love it because they don't have to find a babysitter for their children and most of them get off work late and that makes it harder to get to a salon before they close! So the salon comes to them! We have a Crazy schedule most of the time, running from one place to another! But come on.... Who doesn't. We love life and hopefully don't take it for granted... Here's a small glimps into a busy life..wish I had more time to fill in so more details, but life calls. If You read this I hope you have a Fabulous Day!

Brett's Dream

I just have the cutest husband Ever..
I can't wait to see this commercial!! It's going to be great*

For the longest time Brett has wanted to be an actor. In this last year he has been apart of commercials and movies. He is still auditioning for more parts and has currently working on a part in a student film! He is Great at what he does, and I know he is only going to get better! This picture is from a commercial Brett did a couple of months ago. It was an energy drink commercial that will be playing on USA and some other TV stations! I'll keep you posted on when it will be airing and what other stations it will be on! I am so proud of him for going after his goals and dreams. He still finds time to be with his family and work full time. He is my Hero and inspiration!!

Zachy's Teddy Bear

Some babies have their favorite soft blanket or maybe even their first stuffed animal that they LoVe to cuddle and sleep with! Well Zachs favorite is his bottle! he loves to just hold his bottle next to him! He has the sweetest personality, brett and I am so happy we have him in our life!

My Valentine Present!!

For Valentines Day, I took Zach to JC Pennys for his 3 month pictures.. I was So excited to get them done... But Zach didn't want to play nice.. Every picture was the deer in the head light look. We did get a couple of really good ones but I had pictured it going differently. I'm still so in love with my little guy!

Our last day with ELDER BLACKHAM

DECEMBER 10th, we took Brigham to the MTC. He is going to Taichung Taiwan. We are so proud of him. And glad he has this opportunity. He is going to be great. He has such an amazing testimony, I'm glad he has a chance to share it and serve the Lord. He always giAdd Imageves everything his best and that's why I know he is going to be great. He is a great example to all of us and we love him for that. It was allot of fun but very hard dropping him off. It was hard to think we are not going to see him for two years. It is comforting to know he is in good hands and he is going to help so many people. We first took him to breakfast @ Denny's then off to the MTC. We are going to miss him like crazy! When he gets back Zach is going to be two. He isn't going to recognize him. This is a huge sacrifice he is making and we know he will make us PROUD. God be with him!

Our Bitter Sweet Moment

Today was the last day we will ever be the teachers of these great kids. The last 2 years we have taught the 15-16 year old group @ Church in Moroni. We have now moved to Sandy and will no longer be in that ward. We are so excited about being in a different ward and meeting new people, but we are really going to miss them. We have adopted them as family and its hard to move on!! starting from the back left to right: Brittney, Brett, Landan, Ethan, Kraegan, Justin. Front left to right: Michelle, Alicia, Zach, Karen, and Hannah.
Our class has been so fun. I do believe they have taught us more then we have taught them. The Lord has more planned for us then we will ever know! And I'm so grateful for our faith, and relationship with our heavenly father. I love this season of life. We are just enjoying every moment we spend with our family and friends. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Little Zachs First Pictures

Zach got his first professional pictures done Nov. 18th. He was 2weeks old. I have to say he wasn't a big fan of the whole naked part. We didn't get all of the pictures we wanted because he was so fussy!! Kinda makes me sad, but I'm over it because we did get some really cute ones. He is getting so Big. He is now 7 weeks old and growing so fast. It's almost not fair how hard you work to get them here and then they grow up so fast. But I have to be honest, I'm loving every stage he's going through. He is now starting to smile really big and giggle a little bit. I just love having him in our home. For as much as I want to keep him an infant, I really am looking forward to the next stages ahead. I have so much I want to teach him and activities I want to do with him. He has become such a great addition to our Family.

Our First Family Pictures

Holly Hooper took our family pictures for us! She does a great job!
It was absolutely freezing that day. I felt so bad, the wind was so strong and cold and we were right on the temple hill in Manti. For those of you that have never been up there... When the wind is blowing it gets cold especially in November. And Zach was only 2 weeks old, the wind kept catching him in the face and took his breath away. We wrapped him in a blanket right until we took the picture then we took it away.. I felt like a bad mom, letting him be in the cold like that.

I absolutely love Zachs face in this picture. His Daddy and Mommy love him!!

One Tough Day

11-18-08
Today was Zach's 2week check up! This is our dr. ...Dr. Jackson. She is Great! Zach had a rough day. We woke him up early and took him to get his baby pictures done. While we were there, Zach took the liberty to throw up down my shirt and pee all over the front of daddy!! It was Great. I'm sure if he could laugh he would have, and he would tell us how priceless our faces were!! After pictures we went to his first dr.'s appointment. He now weighs 8lbs 12oz, he's 22ins long and his head is now 3/4in bigger:) His mommy has fed him well!! while we were there we had to do the PKU test. For those of you who don't know what that is I'll fill you in! It's a test the state requires for all Utah babies. It test for over 30 different disease.... I like that part but it was hard to sit through. I held Zach while they pricked his heel and filled 7 full circles on a thicker type of paper. It took about 5 minutes to complete and he screamed the whole time. It was really hard to watch our baby in pain and not be able to just cuddle him and calm him down. After that was over he did get a pretty cool band aid to make it all better. He is such a good baby. I don't know what we ever did with out him!!!

Daddy's Pride and Joy

Brett has become the cutest daddy ever. There are times when I catch him just looking at Zach with that twinkle in his eye. I can just hear his thoughts of how crazy it is that we made this little person. Brett is still scared that he is going to break him, because he is so small. He can't wait until Zach is at the age he can play with a ball. My fear is that zach will grow up and be playing with a ball before i'm ready to let go of this baby stage. I couldn't have asked for a better Husband and now he has turned into such a Fabulous Daddy. We are lucky to have him!
